Trouble is I haven't got the foggiest idea of how to use it!

Had Stilton soup recently for the first time and thought it was lush Xmas Smile

Sounds divine but is it tricky, I'm not the most advanced cook in the world!

I made Stilton parcels for my Christmas buffet table. Puff pastry, cut into rectangles about ravioli size, put Stilton in the middle and fold, sprinkle with Parmesan and bake. Very yummy.

Or Stilton and mushroom tarts.

Get those Big mushrooms (flatish) and stuff them with a bit of Stilton. I think you add a slick of honey. Then bung in oven for about 20 mins.

I like celery and Stilton soup. One onion, diced, one head of celery diced, 1 litre stock and a block of Stilton chopped up. Fry the onion and celery until translucent, add the stock and allow to simmer for half an hour. When the celery is soft, take off the heat, add the Stilton and blitz. Also works with broccoli!

Pasta with Stilton and walnuts is lush.

Cook pasta (tagliatelle is particularly nice with this sauce) in salted water. Meanwhile, heat a little cream in a pan, then stir in some crumbled Stilton until melted. Stir in pasta (you may need a little of the cooking water to loosen) and the walnuts, plus a good grind of black pepper. Serve with green salad,

May I suggest a puff pastry open tart. Just roll the Jus-Rol, if you are short of time, add pieces of pear or sliced fresh figs, crumbled Stilton, bake as required. Serve with a rocket salad.

Have just made a yummy broccoli and Stilton soup.
Fry 1 chopped onion over a low heat for about 5 mins, add 2 large heads of broccoli, chopped ( can use the stalks too chopped finely), fry for another min, then add 1 litre veg stock and bring to the boil.
Simmer for 10 mins, then crumble in Stilton until melted ( I also added other leftover Wensleydale from cheeseboard from Christmas). Then blitz! Absolutely gorgeous!
