The atmosphere on here can make me feel very negative in RL...

.. and I spend far too much time popping in and out of here when I should be focussing on my RL stuff.

Maybe I'll be back when the next baby is on the way but hopefully not.

Thank you to all those who gave me some great help, advice and support on here. Being a first time mum was a little stressful and asking my inane parenting questions on here saved me a lot of unnecessary visits to the GP.

Good luck with everything then. Shame you haven't enjoyed Mumsnet lately - it can be annoying at times!

I'm sorry to see you go - but sadly I do know what you mean. I get so angry on here (the shit relationships some people are in), so frustrated (mostly on the SIDS threads & the correct making up of bottles & the shitty treatment of people with children with SNs) and obviously so sad when so many children & adults are so ill and struggling.

I spent two evenings just recently minding a friends children at her house - their internet was down & it did really highlight how much calmer I feel when I'm not on here in the evenings.

I don't really want to stop posting though as I really like the company of MNers and I hope that occasionally something I post makes someone else's life a little bit less scary or sad... Not to mention all of the laughs & things like Wooly Hugs!

I don't even know that it's MN - maybe it's just being on the laptop?

...errr... sorry for the waffle on your thread Blush

I hope you have a lovely Christmas, a fab New Year. Maybe you'll want to see if you can find a way of MNing next year that doesn't make you feel so negative?!

Take care
x
