Hey me again

I have been on citalopram now for almost 6 weeks i had a good couple of weeks until yesterday i had this panic attack come from nowhere and not feeling the best this morning, does this happen? i have heard that the bad days eventually get less and less and the good days become more frequant?

Hope everyone is cheery this morning

Hi there secrets

Ive been on citalopram for over a year now. I started on 20mg and was fine, then two months in i started to really struggle again, the dose was put up to 40mg and i was ok. I was given it for anxiety and anxiety related depression. It works, mostly I had never had, or at least recognised a full on panic attack until i started these tablets and its not nice, however, ive only had three and they were in the first few weeks of starting.

Have you got pmt? i still get horrible PMT and that can knock me back?

Its still early days, but if you start to feel shitty again, go back to the doctors. During the panic attacks i found it helped to concentrate on my breathing and repeat over and over, its the pills, im ok, its the pills.

Try to remember that everyone has bad days, depression or not, so this might just be a bad day like everyone has and not a set back. I find being on the cit really good, but sometimes i wonder how it is to be "normal" again.
