Coming off ADs

Does anyone have any advice to make this easier? I've been on paroxetine 20mg for a year. Came off them in March and suffered awful side effects (didn't realise at the time as I also had a virus) such as spinning head and uncontrollable sobbing. Is this just a normal part of coming off them? I feel quite scared about it but I really want to come off them now as 1. I was on them for anxiety and a bad patch which is now better (I hope) 2. I've put on weight which I want to shift 3. sex-drive has gone awol.

Btw, I came off them by initially doing alternate days but it was when I came off them completely that everything went wrong.

TIA

When I stopped gtaking mine, I did 2 days on 1 off for a few weeks then every other day for a few weeks. Then after that try a few more weeks at half every other day.

Long and drawn out but hopefully this way you can tell if its too soon to stop and if you really should carry on for a bit.
