Thats it really, the bank have stuffed up my tax credits, i just cant seem to cope, ive ignored DD all day and not done anything in the house. DP has driven me nuts, he is supposed to be working but keeps coming in to check on DD (like he thinks i cant look after her) and then she is crying her eyes out when he has to go back to the shed and he gets stressed with me becuase she is calling him all the time. I just feel like a cant relate to anyone today, my mother is driving me nuts (no reason) and i dont want to talk to anyone, i just want a quiet room and my book, poor DD she must feel lost.

Sorry you're having a bad day LEM

Can DP take DD out for an hour or so and give you some time to yourself?

Sorry you're having such a bad day, I often have them too. Could you summon the energy to give dd a nice bath and bedtime story and get her to bed nice and early? I try and do this when I've had a crap day so at least it ends on a better note iykwim! Of maybe dh could do this if you don't feel up to it... Try and get an early night yourself if you can, I always feel better after a decent sleep.

DP has gone out to quote some work, not expecting him back til 8 at the very earliest. DD wont go to bed for me anymore, but maybe as he wont be around we could try a nice relaxing bedtime. I just dont want to do the mummy thing today, i want to be alone . I think half of the problem is that i dont get any time to myself until she goes to bed, which is generally late and then i have to tidy up etc because i havent managed to do it during the day. Just having a bad day today - not been able to do the things i thought i might; sort out this room (pigsty) do some gardening - DD grumpy and said "too windy" when i suggested going to the garden to do digging.

dont get me started on tax credits lulu - i think lots of families are missing out on what they are rightfully entitled to because the government have made the process so ridiculously complicated.

i know of two families who got scary letters saying they owed thousands upon thousands, and now that has been sroted, they won;t claim them anymore, just in case. it is a farce.
