Feeling BETTER - Thought I should share

Over the last few months, in "real" name and anon I have posted a lot.

You have supported me when I have been down.

I finally decided to try St John's Wort as a last ditch attempt before ADS - and they have been working

I didn't realise how much and how quickly they had kicked in until I missed 2 days by accident and started wondering what the point was in life again

I have got DH on them too, but I think he was a lot lower to begin, so it is going to take longer to lift him up.

Thank you for all the support

Glad you are feeling better. Remember they lower the efficiency of the contraceptive pill (if you are on it) and they make you photosensitive to sunlight - so plenty of SPF when the sun eventually appears.

Is it bad that my first thought there was "Woohoo! A tan!"??

I have a copper coil so no conflicts

I still can't get over how much of a difference they had made, and that I hadn't noticed until I missed some

Hi Flamesparrow. Not a tan - burnt! And wrinkly, crepey skin to look forward to!

Flamesparrow - I have just started trying them, on my 4th day now - how long did it take for them to kick in?

Did you go to a herbalist for them or just a chemist like Boots? I got mine at Boots.

Nyeh to the crepey skin Damn this sun thing!

I got mine from tesco - read the various mg per tablets on the different packets, and then bought the cheapest and am just taking more of the pills at a time (if that makes sense??) so I get the stronger dosage and it still worked out better price-wise.

It took about a week, maybe less, to kick in for me... it is taking DH longer but I am starting to see more of the old him again.
