I know i wrote about this ages ago, as my nan was in a hospital having electric shock therapy andhad seemed to improve for the short term about 2years ago and then was put in a residential home quite close to my mum. Now she has tried to commit suicide again is going back to the hospital again. The dr says for 2 weeks while they change her medication, but ijust can't se where this is going. She's 85 and just does not want to be alive anymore and has had clinical depression since my grandad died over 12 years ago. I don't think a change of medicine is going to really make any vast improvements. Does anyone know about medication for mental illness? I'm worried about my mum, as an only one feels rather helpless i think and can only see my nan gaining any relief in death.
