But it hasn't been very well publicised has it?
Would that be because it is a taboo subject i wonder?
Because of course you can just put a plaster on mental illness cant you?
Not sure why im ranting but as a sufferer of depression etc and having lost my only sister because of multiple disorders i feel angry at the lack of funding in mental health care and angry at peoples ignorance .
Just wanted to say GGGGGGRRRRRR
Keep on walking people

No comment... There was a lot of well known people on TV today to say how they have suffered from depression.... to go on to explain how difficult and how much pressure our dear politician where under. I would like to see them with a couple of under 3's myself. I though that being a mum was the most stressful job ever

So yes it is still a taboo, even on here.
Perhaps, we, as sufferers of depression, should actually talk about it more and explain how it feels to the ones who have the chance not be depressed?
I remember saying to my HV that I would have like that someone explained me what are in RL the symptoms of PND because then I would have had more chance to realized I was depressed. Answer : No you don't want to do that! You will scare people!
And then the subject is supposed not to be a taboo anymore....

63 per cent of bosses would not wish to employ someone with a mental health problem. In a country where 1 in 4 people suffer a mental health problem sometime in their life....
People are ignorant bastards eh?

the three biggest mental health problems in this country are prejudice, fear and ignorance.
