Whats wrong with me?

Right where do i start.... excuse me if some of this doesn't make any sense I suppose that is one of my problems or symptoms i don't know what to call them tbh?! Is that I find it hard to explain things to people be it telling a dr whats wrong or giving someone directions or just in general trying to get my point across.

I suppose the easiest thing to do now is to type down everything that I do that i think is linked in bullet points and hope someone out there can identify whats going on or even relate to it :/

Right here goes:

My short term memory is well practically none exsitant, someone can tell me to do something or ask me to get them something and it will literally be gone, for instants my oh asked me to get him a glass of water from the kitchen and i will come back with no glass of water i will get distracted and just forget, obliviously remembering appointments and conversations I've had is equally hard as is anything that involves remembering anything and dont get me started on losing things!

I will zone out without realizing it,even when having an important conversation with someone, sometimes i can being trying my hardest to concentrate when someone is talking to me but i get distracted by the silliest thing popping into my head, people think im rude but i really cant help it!

I procrastinate like mad i will be sitting here knowing i have lots of things that need doing but i will do anything else not to do them sometimes i just cba other times i just get distracted and forget to do the jobs, my house is so disorganized and messy and it drives me insane but its like i cant do anything about it.

I am forever jumping into peoples conversations i thought will pop into my brain and its like it cant wait to come out it has to come out there and then, i also go off topic when talking to someone as well, i will be really random all the time and go off topic then forget what i was talking about in the first place, i have phoned my sil once and been on the phone for over an hour but come off the phone without actually mentioning the reason i called in the first place, also while on the note of phone calls my best friend hates talking to me on the phone because she always finds there are long pauses probably when ive zoned out :/

Right there are probably loads more but atm my mind is blank and i think ive wrote enough for now Blush

But really hope there is someone out there that can help me figure out if or what is going on.

Oh also I know most of you will probably just tell me to go to the gp I did yesterday and that was pointless he just told me your a busy mum of two your bound to forget things dont worry!
Easier said than done when this is stressing you out the max (also another thing i can deal with stress the slightest thing send me into meltdown moods are all over the place)

So yeah this is me, hope someone has some advice out there
Thanks in advance to anyone that reply's :)

Hi there. I'm a bit like that. Any chance you could be ADD or ADHD? i suspect I could be.

Btw I now refer to my zoning out as Walter Mitty moments having recently seen the film and I now have a little book to keep a to do list in. (I also interrupt, well what i have to say is usually much more interesting and people do ramble on Grin )

I don't think there's anything wrong with you and I agree with your GP. Sometime we can be quick to label ourselves with various disorders, and it does sound to me like you have very-busy-mum-of-two-kids disorder.

I write a lot of things down or note them in my phone. They're probably ridiculously easy things for some people to remember but my head is busy. Post-it notes on the fridge are helpful!

What's stressing you at the moment?

It can run in families, not that I'm saying you are but just out of interest. You do sould like you're a very busy mum so perhaps it's just that Smile
