Anxiety

I need some advice. I am 10+4 weeks pg (3rd pg). First pg was a missed mc. Second pg became DD. I really struggled with anxiety in the first trimester. I had very violent nightmares for weeks. I spoke to GP and she sent me for an early scan. I was fine for the rest of the pg but was diagnosed with Post Natal Anxiety when DD was 5 months. I had ACT therapy.

So, I'm pg again. First trimester again. I am coping far better. I am using mindfulness to keep a lid on my anxiety until the scan. But, I found out today my scan will be at 14+3 - 27 days from now. I thought it would be about 10-12 days from today.

I don't know if I can hang on that long. I'm in tears typing this. It's a whole other month.

Any advice?

Could you call your GP/midwife who deals with this (not sure of procedure in uk) ask if they've read your history and can move your scan forwards?

Yes definitely see your GP so that she can help you. Let us know how you get on.
