Has anyone else craved crap food/not been able to eat on Citalopram?

I went from 20mg to 30mg last week and since then I've found that I'm not really hungry for real food. I've been low carbing for a couple of years now for health reasons so normally don't eat or want processed/carby food. Since I've upped my Citalopram I've not really been hungry and the only decent meal I've managed was roast chicken, roast potatoes (which I wouldn't normally eat in large amounts) and gravy. I did venison steaks and veg for lunch which I'd normally love but I couldn't eat it and had fish fingers a few hours later because they were the only food in the house that I could face eating. If I eat too many carbs then I get terrible athlete's foot and thrush so I'm not able/willing to subsist on the diet that my body seems to want. I normally love my food so not wanting to eat real food is very strange for me. I could do with losing a few pounds so the reduction in calories won't be a bad thing but I do worry about the lack of nutrition.

I've been on citalopram for many years and I've always had the 'not wanting real food problem'. Docs always suggested changing tablets but part of it was for anxiety and I can't deal with the stress if changing, might be an option for you though? Make sure you mention everything to the doc and see what they say..
