Hi, I'm awake and feeling very poorly, I can't cope with feeling sick, I usually keep a supply of domperidone in my cupboard but have ran out, can't find a out of hour pharmacy and am now panicking Sad.

I can't do this alone, dh is asleep downstairs and I don't want to wake him, I would pay a million pound right now for someone to get me something to make this stop Sad.

Please help.

Take deep breaths. Sit down and try to clear your mind. In through your nose, out through your mouth. You have to calm down or you'll end up making yourself sick.

Your DH will cope if he has to.

Trying hard to stay calm, stomached really hurting, not sure what it could be, maybe a kidney infection as I have been peeing a lot lately. Feel so alone and scared, I just want the sicky feeling to stop Sad, hate hate hate this phobia.

Have you POAS lately? Just going off your comment about the feeling sick and peeing a lot. Although with the high temperature and shivering it does sound like a UTI.

How are you feeling now?

I'm in the middle of my period so defiantly not pg, my back has been a lot worse this week, I was meant to go to the gp,quite often when my back hurts this much the gp find blood in my urine test and sometimes infection so could be that, have had lose stools today but put that down to being on a new diet, also had coffee today which sometimes makes me poorly ( but not this bad ), counting down the hours until the chemist opens so I can get my anti sickness tablets and will then make appointment with gp.

Breathe. Slow breaths. Tiny sips of water if you can. I know the feeling and it's horrible so have a hand to hold

Hi Marne. This will pass. My friend has been living with a combination of emetophobia and IBS which gives her regular nausea for years - you aren't alone, it's one of those things that quite a lot of people get but rarely talk about. My friend finds that a walk in the fresh air often helps - is it safe enough in your area for you to do that at this time of night? Most late-night pharmacies are only open till midnight, actual 24-hour ones are really quite rare - have you tried calling NHS Direct/NHS 24 etc? - they should be able to advise you. Local police stations will also be aware of any actual 24-hour services nearby. However, it's not long now till when a chemist near you will open in the morning - you can get through this. Don't worry about DH getting the kids to school - he's a grownup and will be able to cope, and even if he doesn't manage it all, the school will be understanding if kids are late as a once-off because mum was poorly. Fretting won't help and could make your tummy worse so focus on the fact that in the morning everything will be fine.

Sending you calm vibes op. It sounds unlikey that you Have a sick bug so agree with others it's probably anxiety induced.
For me, getting into the garden, deep slow breaths and sips of water help.
What you doing now? Really hope you start to feel better soon.

Thank you, at 3am I felt well enough to try and sleep, sadly dd2 woke me at 5am so have not had much sleep. Feeling drained but have got myself up to get the girls to school (and will then go back to bed for a couple hours if I can), still have stomach pains but not feeling as sick, cant face breakfast though (I love my food so I must be ill).

Hi Marne
I'm sorry, I have only just seen this. I hope you're feeling better now. It sounds like you did really well getting through it without waking up your Dh and getting your dcs to school too.
Xx
