have been on ADs for nearly 10 months and psych said to start reducing them slowly this month as i feel i've totally recovered. but my next appointment with him is in two weeks time whereas i was hoping to start the reducing stage earlier this month.

does anyone have any advice on how i'd start to do it, cos i'd like to start now.

am now on 10mg escitalopram oxalate a day. do i reduce that to half a day every day? and then what?

many thanks for help..

I really would wait for psych to advise, sorry! If you do plan to start reducing before you first see psych, I would do it even more slowly than you suggest - take 1 one day, half the next, etc, then if that goes ok, 1/2 one day, etc. Don't try and cut down too quickly, as you're more likely to get withdrawal problems.
