Metazipan..any experience?

this will be my 5th or 6th lot of A.D's and in big black letters on front of box it says may cause drowsiness do not drive..well i HAVE too..so IYE, are they any good?

am thinking of tamzipan which is a tranquillizer.

do you mean Mirtazipine? No experience of it though. I think a lot of ADs, incl Prozac warn you of possible drowsiness, even if it's a rare side effect. be extra careful the first few days you take it. can you avoid driving for a few days?

yes, it is that MTS (hi by the way..you helped me a lot b4 when i had trouble)
im going to take them from tomorrow night, that way i wont HAVE to drive until wednesday afternoon, so ill see if they affect me..i dont want a tranquilizer though??..im falling asleep as it is!..i explained all this to doc?!

i don't think it is a tranq. Just they way you spelt it make it sound like one. I've got a feeling its some new fangled sort of AD - Noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor. With AD questions you might find the babycentre PND board useful - people as you can imagine have a lot of experience of different meds, and it's a very nice supportive, safe board. (and it's not really a purely PND board, more a general mums/mental health issues board).

well took first one at 6pm last night.
was already very tired yesterday for some reason, which wont have helped..but by 7pm i was leterally nodding off!..went upstairs to watch celeb bb and was asleep before 9.30!..i could tell it was the tabs as i felt sort of drugged up tired(not that i take drugs IYKWIM) and am going for interview for night job tomnight!, so dont know what to do as after dd woke me at 1am and didnt go back to sleep, i feel like i have a hang over the morning and didnt want to get up..dont know if it was dd(which i should be used to by now)..or ads?

this ad has turned be into a raving lunatic
im 10 times more snappy and irratable that i ever was, i have no patience whatsoever, im eating like no bodies business(and i as doing so well losing weight)and i am exhausted within an hour of taking them and it carries on until mid morning next day..i just have no energy, cant be botherd and am a hoorible snappy, intolerable witch..plus my boobs hurt

Hmmmm. I suppose I'ld be inclined to try and ride it out for 2 weeks, on basis that you can get short term side effects on starting any ads for up to 2 weeks. When are you next due to see doc. Are you expecting to start your period? Just wondering that's why your boobs are sore? Unfortunately ADs can sometimes increase you appetite - so drink plenty of water and have plenty of fruit/veg in as healthy snacks.
