Sorry, I'm sure this has been asked before, but, do you get better results with AF? I'm thinking of trying to kickstart with AF before settling into 5:2...

Do you mean every other day? There was an article about this in Saturday's Times.

For me, I'd find it overly restrictive - 2 days a week is quite enough thanks!

If you do want to try it, make sure you eat enough on your non-fasting days.

Other way round.
Start with 5:2 and only go up to ADF once you have settled patterns.
Come join the big thread and you'll find like minded folks.

I tend to agree with TIP. Fasting takes a little bit of getting used to. Ease you way into it otherwise you are more likely to fail. This is a marathon not a sprint.
