How soon after MAP to do test?

Condom slipped the other night - didn't tear but stuff had come out and not 100% sure when and where it might have gone. Took MAP c 14 Hrs later. I'm still breastfeeding DC2 - but just started weaning onto solids so prime time I think to be ovulating?! I'm totally freaking out that I might be pregnant. I've got 2 children I adore but with difficult pregnancy and pre-eclampsia, small age gap and about to go back to work etc and we always said just 2. Anyway, I won't stop worrying until I know there's no baby ... But as I'm breastfeeding I wouldn't be expecting a period as the usual marker. How soon should I poas?

And can anyone reassure me that MAP has worked for them? Not sure how I could face the thought of another baby

I have used MAP twice, ten years apart, and both times it worked. I was told to take a pregnancy test three weeks after to check. Hope this helps.

Thank you, yes it does! I know it's more likely to work than not but won't stop me worrying so will do a test. Nice to hear it working as a lot of stuf online is from women it hasn't worked for.

Both times I took it I worried too that it wouldn't work. Try not to worry too much though (easier said than done, I know!) You took it very quickly though and that's good. The sooner you take it, the better it works.
