Bleeding on depo after being fine for five months...

I was on depo pre dc and didn't have any periods after the initial 6 months when it was on and off.

Started it again once I'd finished bf ds and, apart from a bit of spotting a few times when I would have been due on I had no bleeding at all.

After five months I had a week of spotting, followed by a week of full on period and then two weeks of spotting. Had next injection and it stopped but only for four days.

Nurse is going to do swabs but said I will likely need a follow up with a gp.

Spotting has stopped again, lasted about a week.

Does this sound normal? Could it all just be part of my body getting used to it? Swabs aren't until next week.
