Period starting before last pill taken

Hi

I have been on marvellon about 18 months with no problems. Since January I have been getting spotting a few days before last pill taken and then full blown period day I stop the pill most cycles. I have been to the doctor and had a swab taken - clear, smear - all normal, and ultrasound. This showed I had polysystic ovaries and also adenomyosis. This explains the heavy and painful periods but not the early ness of them? Anyone else get this? Thanks in advance.
