Is emergency contraception available under the minor ailments scheme?

I know it is free if you get it from a sexual health clinic or if you are under 25, just wondered if it was free in pharmacies to those who usually don't pay for prescriptions?

This will vary from area to area, depending on what is commissioned from your local pharmacy. Emergency hormonal contraception is not normally on the minor ailments list but may be free from some or all pharmacies in your area, either for young women under 19, under 25, or for all women. There may well be a sexual health website in your area that will give youthis information.
