How long can you take microgyron 30 for?

I've been on microgyron 30 for 6 years now and I love it so much. I've never had any bad effects and I often take two packs together although I know you shouldn't do it too often. I was just wondering if there is a time limit on how long you can take it before you have to switch to a different method?

In theory you can take it up until the menopause.

However when you get to about 35 a HCP may review your contraception, particularly in relation to your weight, whether you smoke and your medical history. The risks increase with age as well as BMI and smoking so dependent on those things you may be advised to switch to another method.
