Breakthrough bleed on microgynon anyone?

I've been on microgynon 30 since around 16 with breaks to have 2 dc- youngest is now 17 wks.

I've been having spotting the last few days (5 days before I stop for my 'period' break)

I've recently started exercising (shred) and dd was born by cs. Could this explain it?

Anyone had any breakthrough bleed on microgynon 30 and know why?

Yes, i had breakthrough bleeding on microgynon and also when I switched to cileste. I had a section too, although I can't remember if I got it before being pregnant as well. My son is ten now and I still get it if I go back on either pill. I think it's something to do with the fact that they both have relatively low levels of hormones in them.
