Bleeding while ovulating after sterilisation?

Has anyone had this?

My tubes were cut and tied during my 4th c-section 17 months ago. I'm still breastfeeding and my periods have only recently returned. I have had two periods so far and have bled during ovulation. It was old blood, and more like spotting. I thought perhaps it was a result of being sterilised and only just getting my period back, just wondering if anyone else had had the same experience?
