problems with mirena after problem free year

I had a mirena put in a year ago it has been fab no problems at all. I was having regular bleeding but very light and only lasting 3 days or so generally.

10 days ago i started bleeding a little heavier than normal but not as heavily as a non mirena period. It just wont stop!. It now has some very small clots etc in and I am getting stomach cramps.

I can still feel the strings of the mirena.

Is this a problem the cramps are unusual I havent had them for ages!

Have a Mirena. Simillar start but haven't had the later experience. I would go to GP and have it checked out.
