Iud removal fears

Hi ladies,
This is my first ever post! I know I'm not a mum but hopes its still ok.

I'm 22 and I was talked into getting copper iud (never given birth) what a mistake, getting it inserted was the worst thing I have ever experienced I basically passed out and was feeling so sick.
That was almost a yr ago, had nothing but problems since I can sometimes feel it, I have bad pain and frequent bleeding.
Today I'm going to get it out, I'm so scared!!! Can anyone offer any advice or experience I've been told the removal isn't as bad as the insertion but I'm just not sure.
