I've just stopped breastfeeding my 8 month old DD and am going back on the contraceptive pill (Mycrogynon). Do you know if I need to wait for my periods to return before I start taking it? I asked my GP, and after lots of flicking through books and looking on the Internet, he thought I didn't need to wait, but he seemed very unsure so thought I'd see if any of you knew?
