I'm still breast feeding my son (15 months) and have a 31 day cycle, was due on the 14th and still no AF.I usually get PMS type symptoms but they haven't happened this month just an outbreak of a few spots. I did a pregnancy test a few minutes ago and it came back as negative. What could this mean? I'm completely useless. Thanks in advance Xmas Smile

Thank you Loopy He has had the same feeding pattern for a while now, it's been much the same as when he was a newborn! Just more settled at night. We co sleep so he may have latched on in the night and I've not remembered. I didn't know it can be that sensitive! We've not used any protection, as it was a sort of in the night moment of passion Xmas Blush but the dates would make sense. I've taken folic acid this morning just incase I am pregnant. Thank you again for replying.

If you're not using contraception it's entirely likely you could be pregnant.

A pregnancy test could show positive anything from 10 days to 21 days after unprotected sex so keep retesting. It sounds like you wouldn't mind being pregnant so potential congratulations!

Thank you Sidge we are both really excited as it would be a really nice age gap between them both. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm racking my brain to remember if my son had been feeding more in the night. He has been teething again recently so anything is possible.

Two negative tests, and still no AF! :( The only time I have ever been this late was with a pregnancy. Sorry I hadn't replied sooner Loopy, we were away for the holidays. I hope you all had a great time celebrating. I think I will ask my doctor if she can shed any light on my situation and I shall report back :) once again thank you for your help.
