i've never even felt an ovary before but it must be what it is, just above my public bone on both sides - OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!

I am on my 4th day off it. V weird!
Constant nausea unless eating, cramps, feeling almost like before you get d&v, bloated, constantly needing the loo and sore boobs!

Hiya,
I came off cerazette around the 2nd week of dec, and started my period on tues this week....it's been hell! heavy bleeding, nausea coupled with feeling hungry, extreme stomach cramps, tired, needing a loo a lot, agonising backache, tearful, and mega bloating!!! Question is, what do I take next, as I'm 42, now single and not looking a man lol! Can't go through this again next month

I came off Cerazette on 15th December after about 8 years on it.; period finally arrived 6 Jan. Was lucky not to have the nausea but did have cramping the whole time, really really sore boobs, bloating, and my god the mood swings were bad. The cramps were agonising the day before my period came, but then totally settled down. 5 days of light bleeding, and now I'm back to normal. Hopefully not too much longer for you.

I thought i'd share my experiences. I came off Cerazette just before Christmas '11 after 9years on the pill and throughout i had no periods. Yesterday (Jan 27th) was when i had my first period, and it hurts. When i first came off it i felt sick and feint but that died down but now i hope this is a sign that my body is catching up with itself. In reflection i had no problems at all with Cerazette, just shows everyone is different. Good luck!

Why have you stopped taking it?

I love it cos no periods Grin

I loved it because of the no periods too Grin
But it seems to have a link to anxiety/depression/panic attacks and I wanted to see how I am without it. And tbh I feel a lot better
