ABRSM Exam

I have just tried to book my ds' music exam, but it's now said that it is closed despite saying online date is today.

Does anyone know if there's a way round to do late entry, or is that opportunity missed now until Easter?

TIA

Email them and tell them you tried without success to get an online entry through last night, they sorted the same situation out for me once before.
Separately, you can always try to find someone who has organised a Special Visit locally to you and see if they will allow others to enter at those exam sessions, these are held outside the main exam period. Have a look at the Forum on the ABRSM homepage for helpful info on all this stuff.

Don't email, phone the number for your area, explain that the website wasn't working, and then do a paper entry, with a letter covering the fact that the website was broken, and that you've spoken to the board. If you have a local music service, or local schools, they may well be doing their own entry that you could piggy back onto.

I've done a few late entries in my time, they can't guarantee them, but they usually squeeze them in ok!

Oh thank you - will phone first thing on Monday. Fortunately had the presence of mind to do a screen shot of message on website so can show it wasn't working.

When I emailed in this situation someone rang me from the ABRSM on the Sunday and sorted it all out!

The problem is, if they're busy, the emails sometimes get pushed to the bottom of the pile, whereas a phone conversation can't iyswim!

That's true. Email and phone and ask the name of the person you speak to when you phone!
