I'm completely sure she will be fine

Staying with family (never stayed with them before but she is very fond of them)

Doing 2 summer schools, coming home for a few hours on Sunday to do her exams & home again next weekend

My mum is dropping her at the station as I have an appointment & when she comes back on Sunday her dad is going down with her to help with the larger case & the packing case full of packed lunch food!!

I didn't realise how many leotards & tights she had....fortunately as she will need them & need to wash them while she is away as well

I am something of a gibbering wreak but I'm trying to to let her know

Summer school lets her gain much needed life experience in a gradual way. It also lets you have a little more time to yourself and with luck you'll find that your fridge, fruit bowl and sweetie drawer might retain their contents for longer...

Taking dd to her summer school on Sunday - but first she's got the last couple of nights of her dance school show - her last one.

She's going in a boarding house and thinks its going to be like Malory Towers - going to miss her. Just got to teach her how to wash ballet tights through now.

Due to a major miscalculation & post issues, DD's Ballet Teacher delivered new ballet shoes to DD at the station......& then sewed the elastics on for her; my mum was dropping DD at the station so I am so grateful to her teacher for sorting it all out.

She has had 2 new pairs since Easter & put the toe through both (that's good right?)

Ballet tights & footless tights were delivered to her aunt & uncles yesterday

DD will also have to wash tights & leotards - at least they will dry in this weather

Dd has always had leather ballet shoes as they last and last, however the teacher who has been doing her private lessons says they don't flatter her foot (very high arch). She has to have canvas next year so she's using them for the show. It will be interesting to see how long canvas last in comparison.

Satin ones are hopeless.

Midas is cancelled :(. So we are all spending a week in Harpenden at the end of the month - just got to keep ds occupied for the week.

I know about MIDAS - I have been watching on the other site

DD''s teacher says no to leather once they are serious about it; we have satin for auditions & the show in October (want to come)

Harpenden? Hmm I'll have a think - how old is he?

Dd has been doing RAD so they have to wear leather or satin full sole (though rad have just changed the rules). It's split sole canvas from now on.

Where's the show - we have a problem in October because dd and ds now have different half terms.

Well she is up & out & walking (eating breakfast) - she rang to check what time the next train was (just in case)

Fingers crossed for today I am worried she is out of her depth
