Toddler rugby/football

Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but was wondering if anyone knows of any toddler rugby or football classes in the Worcestershire area? Id like something he could start now and carry on with up to school age or beyond.

Ds is 2.5 and loves running around with a ball...I think he'd really enjoy some sort of group where he could be with other children at the same time. Would also save me running round with him all the time!!

He'd need to be older for anything remotely organised. You are better off continuing to encourage him to play with the ball when you are at the park and with friends.

You can still play with a ball during other activities like swimming or baby gymnastics.

Soccatots? Haven't tried it, and think it depends on the individual group as to how good it is, but worth a look as they do from walking to about 5?

Not to be disagreeable, but ds has been going to football since he was 18 months, and absolutely loves it. Is not strict or anything, but his sheer delight in being in a big room full of footballs/goals really warms the cockles of my weary old heart. His was organised by the Y, now a church (tho not religious). As an aside, local toddler group was going to organise a session in a hall just with balls, etc, to let them run about, but has not happened yet: you could do that if you can't find one?

Which end of Worcestershire ? DS went to Rugby Rookies for 2 terms (stopped as although he enjoyed it when there, he never wanted to actually go), and went to a session of another franchise in Worcester

Thanks very much for the responses...we are in bromsgrove so not far from worcester. I've looked up rugby rookies and also found another one in Worcester that does Saturdays, so should be starting this weekend! Hope he enjoys it
