good websites for 5-6 year olds

Am trying to get dd interesting websites to play/learn on. cbeebies is a bit babyish really. no idea where to look...

Cadbury's buttons site is good - just got this new 'activity book' thing which is a bit more advanced than cbeebies. My dd (6 and half) really liked it. E-pages which are easy enough for her to read, stuff to click on and little quizzes, e-jigsaws and 'colouring pages'.

We had one recommended ages ago and my kids loved it. I recall it ws called www.poissonrouge.com
really good at getting them to explore with the mouse and see what different parts of the pages do

you can maybe also try starfall..some are the games/activities are a bit young but tons to do on there.

My DD 4 yrs enjoys using it...

Poisson rouge is brilliant! May be a bit young but there's loads to do and it can all be done independently. I love it.

National geographic kids is good - lots of games/activities and educational too.

Agree that Poisson rouge is excellent. It has recently been updated and now has more stretching maths problems etc on it.

Zoodles - has a good variety. Creates its own broswer so kids dont wander
