DD9 is sporty but cant decide what to choose She has played netball, rounders, rugby and is good in atheletics. We were tolkd that she is atheletic and should try joining her in atheletics club. I was thinking more of a team sport?

Any suggestion - she really likes rounders(from what she describes it sounds like base ball to me) but there is no clubs for this where we live.

I was thinking of hockey but welcome any ideas.I can try and get her ionto that club by september.

Volleyball was my game and is a great team game. Bit technical but that makes it better imo. Also when you wander through the parks and beach it's great to show them how it's done. One of the most played games in the world and in Holland I think it is their no 1 game ahead of football.

my dd2 loves athletics and she is also a good swimmer so she does swimming and triathlon club - there are plenty of junior tri clubs around and although not a team sprot it is a very good social and personel best and competative sport.

all sports are done of road, including the cycle part.

I was into athletics, all of the jumping events. I played netball, basketball, softball, touch football, girls cricket. I played hockey but because I was new to it all the other players were much better then I and so never passed me the ball. I didnt enjoy it. But the rest of the team loved hockey.

I didnot think of volleyball- thats a good idea.
Triathalon is a good option as well.

I was googling the clubs and almost all of them have training at 5.00pm but I work full time ahhhh...You can never win. I was feeling guilty as inspite of school hinting at how good she last year I could not do anything and was determined to do something this year. She won most of the competition she entered and was given allrounder medal. It was the first time I saw how good she was and was determined to do something.I will keep trying maybe the sport she takes up will have to depend on the time of the training the club offers.Sadly I cant change or cut down my hours

There's got to be something she could do later in the evenings or on weekends, ask around some more.
