This is the first time I've ventured onto the exercise board so please be gentle with me!
I had my gallbladder out in May and it's taking me longer than normal to get over it and I still ache inside from the belly button up to where my gallbladder was. My GP has said I'm ok to start exercising again (I haven't done anything other than walking since the beginning of April) and my gym membership restarts on 1st August.
I'm planning of starting off gently with 10 minutes on the treadmill, 10 on the cross trainer and 10 on the bike and then build up - does that sound reasonable? I'm not allowed to do weights or sit ups yet so I'm a bit limited with what I can do. I don't want to ask the trainers at the gym as they aren't very helpful unless you are paying them for personal training!
Thanks in advance for any advice.
