Has anyone bought one of these and been happy? has it lasted? not worn out after a months use? They have them on special from this weekend and I am tempted. I have been looking at the Concept rowing machines which are way more expensive in comparison.

No, but I have bought a fair few things from the 'middle aisle' and been very happy. Their quality is pretty good and their prices are really competitive.

I always buy things I see that we need/might need and have a good look at it/trial it at home. If it's not right you can always take it back.

Thanks Forever, I am thinking as with anything I seem to purchase exercise wise, the novelty may wear off. So $199 in comparison to $1700 (I am in Oz) is the magic number. Of course on one hand I don't want to buy something that is completely rubbish either so....

What about eBay or Freecycle.

You often see exercise equipment going for a song because people have bought them and given up. If you buy cheaply you can always flog it on if you don't use it. I've done this with other items and ended up making a profit. Grin You just need to make sure you do a good description and take loads of photos.

If it's a success you can always upgrade later on.
