Great North Run 2015

I am finding it almost impossible (even on their own flipping website for crying out loud) to find the exact date of the GNR next year. I have registered with their reminder service but that won't help me find a hotel now and I think they will get booked up pretty quickly after this year's race.

Any seasoned GNRers can tell me the formula for when it takes place please?

Don't they usually mention it on the day this year? I was hoping to do it this year but the date wasn't convenient. Id love to do it next year though. I saw this years date on the live BBC programme.
