Couch to 10k???

An I mad??? Completed c25k last year but haven't run since around December for a variety of reasons but looking at lifestyle later I need to get back into exercising. Am going to sign up for a 10k in September and rather than starring C25k again I was going to do the 0-10k plan on my Rundouble app instead.

Is this crazy or a good idea?? Plan to get the trainers out of the mothballs tomorrow!

Very good idea. 10k is a great distance to run. Not too short, not too long. Perfect.

It's a great idea, I did the zenlabs couch to 10k last year and then stopped running and gave started again ad I have signed up for a 10k in Oct.

I started on week five of the couch to ten k plan, the first 7-8 wks are basically the couch to 5k plan! Despite not running for months I found my fitness levels were actually not too bad. I cycle and walk a lot so I think that helps.

10km is a good distance and I built up to it fairly easily in about ten weeks?

Good luck :)
