Hellllllo Smile
Just done day two of 30 day shred today. I've never done it before, hoping to do that and C25K at the same time.

Hello. I'm one of Jillian's lovers. I've been exercising with her 5 times a week since the new year but have been 'on a break' for the last 10 days. I'm trying to rekindle the love and get back to regular sessions.

Morning ladies Grin

Thanks for new thread Kick!

I've done KB&T L2 this morning......think I'd rather have his behind the sofa with you kick, forgot about the 1 legged burpees and killer low squats!! Finished off with some press ups and plank stuff.

Kick, I saw on the last thread you said you'd written down some ab work to do, that's a good idea think I might do thatGrin

This seems like the perfect place to ask this question! I've done 30 day shred and getting a bit bored of no more trouble zones.

Any suggestions on which DVD to get next?

Yet, thanks for the new thread kick Flowers, you're the perfect person to have started it too Smile.

I am so sore after yesterday's Ripped! Oh well, that means my muscles are broken and I'm getting stronger right?!

No JM for a while- away for a wedding this weekend, then got family staying next week for DS's 2nd birthday. But I know she'll be waiting for me when I'm ready Grin.

Rioja- Ripped in 30 and Killer Buns & Thighs are the most popular here I think, I love 6 week 6 pack too.

I like Blast Fat Boost Metabolism Rioja. I have now found KB&T so I have no excuse (lord knows where DS has put ripped) I saw on the other thread that a lot of people found L2 of killer harder than level 3 do you think thats true spinning?
Well done BigRed keep it up!
Hi Lindt still having 6w6p L2 flashbacks? My AB's are hurting from it spinning so i'm going to do KB&T to give them a little rest

I'm feeling a bit dispirited about the 30DS today so I'm going to see what's on YouTube to have a try today.

Ears, enjoy your weekend Grin

Rioja, I like Ri30 if you fancy a change. If you looks at her DVDs on Amazon there are loads of reviews for them all.

Kick....I think L2 and L3 are equally as hard!! What level are you going to do?

Hmmm thinking I need to order kettlebells dvd as wellGrin

Probably L1 because I have a hangover Grin

Dropping in from Shred thread:
Did Ri30 L3D1.

I am alternating days with Ri30 and KB&T.
I found L3 easier than L2 personally but I think that is because I hate the plank moves in L2. I may eat my words though as have only done first day on L3 and was learning the moves.

Anyone thinking of trying kettlebells, make sure you get a cast iron bell and you want a smooth handle as you will be swinging it around all over the place. I use this DVD, there are excerpts on if you want to check it out as the DVD is quite expensive (£9.75). This is the only kettlebell DVD I've tried but I get on well with it. I have a 4kg bell (£12), a 6kg bell (£16), and an 8kg bell (£18). I selected them by reading the reviews and picking the best price at the time. You can get sets which might work out cheaper, or head down to a sports shop and try them out. I'm pretty puny so I use the 8kg bell for swing squats etc. and the 4kg bell for overhead work but an 8kg bell is the generally recommended starting weight for women.

I just gave 6W6P a try but I found it quite hard to figure out the correct position for some of the moves so I gave up after the first circuit and did sit-ups for the rest of the time instead.

I am up to level 2 day 2 of 30ds.

I am actually enjoying this level I was a bit worried coz a few people had said they didn't like it but it's not to bad.

Right L3 of KB&T's done, thanks spinning it is hard but I enjoyed it even if I do feel sick now!

6w6p is great for balance, core, strength. Great workout. Love it .
I sometimes do the first run through of level two then first run through of level one. Less boring than just repeating same routine again as per jm's instructions.

Thanks for the kettle advice StuntGrin

I'm going to order the dvd and do it with my 4kg weight and then order a kettlebell. I'll have another look at the tkmax ones and see what they're made of.

Well done Kick and with a hangover as well!! I'm out tonight so not sure I'll do anything tomorrow, will depend on how much I drinkGrin

Question... What weights are you using? I've got 2lb which I think are probably too light. I'm considering a pair of 5lb weights. Any thoughts?
I did level 1, day 3 of 30day shred today so just beginning really.

Ah I found you :)

"Lovers of JM"? I'd kick? Maybe wishful thinking Grin

Anyway RI30L3 done with 3kg weights (not 2kg).

I'm alternating between shred, ripped, trouble zones and BFBM just now. Might pick up KBT unless it has duck walks
