Quite a few of us are interested in doing the Wolf Run this September so we were thinking of getting a team together.

It's for all abilities, it should be really good fun. It's not timed and it'll be too wet to wear your Garmin, so don't worry if you're not a fast runner. We'll be a team and no Wolef will be left behind.

It's on the 6th & 7th of September just south of Coventry, so fairly central. If we get a team together we get a slightly discounted entry.

If you're interested, post on here and we'll start making a list.

We also need to pick a charity so if everyone wants to suggest their favourite one and then we can argue about it for ages with no firm decision being made.

So, I'm in and my favourite charity is the Birth Trauma Association.

are there actual wolves?

Yes- but they have muzzles on.
Wink

Im up for it-
but its DD's 1st Bday on the 7th so I can only do the 6th.

Im happy to go with the general consensus for Charity.

My ONLY demand is that we wear these-

I'm in if I don't get into GNR through the ballot.

I tend to run for Winston's Wish but am happy to go with the majority.

WOLF stands for Woods Obstacles Lakes and Fields.

No wolves were/are hurt in the running of this event Grin

I feel this is partly my fault for not capitalising 'WOLF'. I apologise.

don't worry, the disappointment and grief will fade in time like the memory of my extremely mild injury and everything will be ok again :)

am definitely going to do one of those mad African marathons though where they have helicopters and stuff to steer the stampeding wildlife away Grin

ooooh you saucy devil! ok you're on!

I probably wouldn't run very fast at all if you transformed yourself into a Well Hot Man under the mask Grin

Berlin Marathon? Ooh, lucky you!

Cov is pretty much right in the middle of the country. Just to the left of Birmingham.

Not sure how sultry we'll be covered in mud at the end, but we can all do duckfaces for the team photo. I bet we'll look amazing.

Right, so Team Wolef so far-

Shit, it's just to the right of Birmingham. I've got a dodgy shoulder today and I may have taken too much methocarbamol.
