September shredders, check in here!

Not sure where August went to, but September is upon us and the shredding continues!
join us here, all current shredders, hopeful shredders to be, rebooting shredders and nearly finished shredders, for support, encouragement and occasional necessary kicks up the bum...

I have been toying with starting shredding again today.. seen this and will def be shredding later on today now!!
I'm assuming your referring to the 30day shred?!

30 Shredding days hath September - I'm in! Haven't exercised at all for at least 6 weeks, my 30th birthday is coming up (7 Oct) and my goal is to Shred every day this month. I have done Level 1 umpteen times and never got past Day 12, so I have started at Level 2 and will do 15 days of 2 and 15 of 3. Just did Day 1 and I had forgotten how hard it is! Owww.

Hi, I'll be joining in from Tuesday (3rd) when DD is back at school.

Shredded through April and June this year and never felt better...am looking forward to that feeling again! Will also go brisk walking for an hour most days...thanks for the starting this thread Smile

I used the shred last year and combined with dieting lost three.. And felt great.. But I have lost the will at the moment.. Did get to week 6 of c25k but been on holiday and havnt got back in to that either.. The shred is easier to co ordinate children with.. As I can leave hem to play in the bedroom!
I have almost all Jillians DVDs and love the shred the most.. Although I know I won't be able to walk for a few days!!

Just got back from sainsburys and they had Shred for £3! So I bought it.. Hopefully start after kids in bed...

Ok I'm going to join. DS been off nursery all summer plus we moved house so shredding took a nose dive. Nursery starts again tomorrow so that's 4 days per week I should be able to fit it in without a little helper.

Alternating with NMTZ as well because I actually enjoy it Wink

I am going to try again as from tomorrow.

I started in August then had investigations re chest pain (now got the all clear Smile and I have erm, padding on my tummy to get rid of!)

I have just finished but going to carry on with level 3 on days when I can't fit in 6 week 6 pack which is 40min including warm up/down.

I would start Ripped in 30 but my computer is broken so o can't download and can't buy DVD where I am. So I have a lonely 6 wk 6 pack thread all on my own!

Randomly did JM yoga DVD as bored and DH out with Ds.
Called yoga meltdown.
Is basically a series of planks and strength moves disguised as sweaty yoga - not relaxing, not like normal yoga as its really a 30 min circuit but good workout.
You do need to be A. Strong and B. experienced with yoga - not expert but it would confuse a complete beginner.

Right, I have started Shredtember!

After months of inactivity and about a 9 excess lbs of weight gain following a miscarriage I am ready to make an effort.

So I did my very first Level 1 this morning. Feeling it in my thighs and my arms. Is that normal? Will I be okay tomorrow (probably not, felt like I might die this morning!). And that was only using tins as weights Blush

Normal to ache first 2-3 times.
Do extra quad stretches holding onto furniture and also triceps .... Won't cure but does help.

Gets much less achey by day 4/5.

I've done 30DS before but haven't excercise at all in 3 months so I'm starting again. I'd previously lost jut under 4 stone but have put one stone back on again. :(

Day one today. Feeling nervous because I'd really built my fitness to a good level before and I'm now worried I'll be aching all over after Jilian's finished with me because in three months I've totally lost the practice. Hmm

Morning fellow shreddies, i started level 2 this morning after 15 days of level 1. Level 2 is hard And requires more coordination than i currently have! I hate the plank, every other exercise seems to involve the plank. But i did it!

wallpaper, iced and ripping hi and seriously well done for level 3!

How did you lose the weight thediet other than shredding?

I've been doing the workouts via you tube but had to purchase L2 on iTunes this morning as it had been taken down.

Day 1 done. 5 circuits of NMTZ - I even did one I don't like Wink

Bumpotato, I started ripped after my initial shred, found it harder than L3 shred Confused. Got to level 2 and sacked it off, too much leaping about/complicated moves for my liking.
