Where do you get your gym clothes from?

I desperately need to get my exercise mojo back and am in need of some new gym clothes. Where should I look?

I plan to get back into body pump and running, possibly yoga...

Most of my running and workout clothing comes from Sports Direct, I see no need to pay lots of ££.

However my running shoes are always properly fitted and checked, last couple of pairs have been from Sweatshop.

What Shrimp said about sports direct - Lonsdale for longer length tops for body pump are uber cheap and great quality.

Sports direct or H&M.
I get my running shoes from a local specialist running shop.

Sweaty Betty - costs more but lovely and added advantage that you don't have to go anywhere near Sports Direct Grin!

I do get my DC's stuff from SD though....

I get all my stuff from Sports Direct. I order online because the shop doesn't seem to stock any actual sports clothing Hmm The website has loads of great choice though and it's seriously cheap.

Running shoes definitely go to a specialist place.

I've got running clothes from a combination of eBay, sports direct and mountain warehouse. Need to get new trainers as mine have done rather too many miles and will go to a proper running shop for them.,

Once you find the best trainers for you, Sportshoesdirect is great for bargain, good quality trainers, typically I buy Asics but last season's colours which means a lot less £. Sweaty Betty is great for the occasional treat and the quality is great, but I will also pick up Nike and similar wherever it is a good price - Sports Direct included!

I get most of mine from Tk maxx.

Don't worry about getting any fluff especially if you are starting. Normal Primark leggings for £3 and t-shirt vest £2 plus good non under wired normal bra.

Then get a good pair of trainers. I am a high mileage runner so good trainers are a must. The current ones that have done over 500 miles were from the online sports shop (can't remember name) that is similar to TK maxx but for sport clothing. They cost about £30, I read the reviews online first to make sure they were what I wanted. They were last season's when I bought them.

Don't feel the need to buy expensive gear. My Primark leggings and vest have served me well even at my local gym and I think I still look cool. My vest is pink so a bit of colour in the gym or when I am pounding the streets. I have a black proper expensive addidas one that supposedly does lots of fluff but I don't like it. I rarely wear it on very cold days when I need something to keep warm.

If you're running outside I would get cheap top/leggings and invest (like £20ish) on a lightweight high-vis jacket. Mine has been so useful when its windy as it keeps me warm but not too warm. Its nice and safe and it has pockets for keys and gloves. I have a pocket in my running leggings but my phone pulls them down a bit! Generally I get everything from TK Maxx. But I can't stress wearing High-Vis enough.

I love Thoosa and find their longer length vests really good- no belly exposure when stretching up. They manage the vast quantities of sweat I produce during aerobics too. Definitely feel more motivated to keep going as I know they are more flattering and in unusual colours than massive sloppy tea shirts. I am not a runner BTW, just a regular attendee of aerobics & zumba classes.

I get most of my gear from Start Fitness www.startfitness.co.uk
I'm lucky in that I live not far from Newcastle so can browse the store for some fab sale items and get my trainers properly fitted, but online ordering is brilliant and their customer service is excellent!
Their More Mile range is excellent too, fits well, does the job, and great value for money.
