What's you mantra?

Do you have a mantra? How did you decide what it would be? Does it help you?

At the moment I'm going with 'I am a runner', which doesn't quite fit with what I thought would work, but it does make me feel credible, as I head out of the door.

Am interested to see if other use one and how.

Quitters never win and winners never quit

I don't say it to myself all the time when exercising - only when I need a bit extra motivation eg at the end of 6 mile run when I decide to do a last half mile sprint. Helps me when I need it.

There's a big difference between wanting to stop (when out running) & physically having to stop.

Plus, with a decent 30 min + exercise = your passport to eating that treat you deserve. I'm doing a 10km race tomorrow & have just packed a choc brownie for after the race Grin
