So i got an eco ball, a big one with rattle-y ceramic balls in it. I hope they are the same that are sold in the UK so you can all help me. 1. Can I add stain remover etc to the wash as well or will it affect the micro enzyme whatsits on the ceramic balls which do the cleaning, and 2. my clothes now smell of tap water. What can I put in the wash to make them smell 'clean'. I know they technically ARE clean, (except for stains on my baby whites which are tough)but they don't SMELL clean... so what do i use now?

Do you mean they smell of dirt or that they just don't smell of detergent?

Um, if it's just that you want them to smell of something rather than nothing then you could try a couple of drops of essential oil in the final rinse.

If they smell dirty then I don't know what to suggest other than your ecoball isn't working!

No, they dont really smell dirty, just of tap water. Once dry they just smell of nothing. I will try the oil, do you just drop it in the softener compartment?

Yep, you'll probably find they smell quite strong when you first take them out of the machine but that it fades when they are hung out

hang a car air freshener, (obviously one that smells nice, not new car scent) in your wardrobe

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
