Are they destined for landfill? I have listed twice on Freecycle, and no charity shop is interested. What else can I do with them?

I was wondering the same this morning. It seems such a waste to send them all to the tip but I can't for the life of me think what else to do with them.

nailpolish I did wonder that but they are mostly horrors or stuff like The Godfather/A Clockwork Orange/One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - inappropriate?

PMSL @ one flew over the cuckoos nest
i wouldnt recommend that for a psychi hospital...

but possibly just a run-of-the-mill medical ward or a dialysis unit (dialysis would be good - they have to sit in a chair for up to 5 hrs which is incredibly boring)

SEA

Among others:
Red Dwarf series 1-3, Friends series
8, The Godfather Trilogy, Eraserhead, LA Confidential, Fight Club, The Deer Hunter, Star Wars

I am happy to package and courier if you want them?

There are 30-40 in total I think. Can't remember what else is in there off the top of my head.

They sell them 5 for £1 in a couple of the Charity Shops in my town. DD loves to browse and spend her pocket money on them. We don't actually own a DVD player and I use the Video to tape off TV as we don't have Sky either.

I know it's a pain but could you list them?
I'dbe happy to pay postage on anything I'd like

Try putting them out in front of your house on a fine day. I'm told that round here putting a price on them means that they will disappear (not paid for) double quick! Though of course they still might just end up in the rubbish...

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
