handing in notice advice needed again - sorry

Can you do it verbally rather the writing and if you hand it in when you are on the sick, is there anything you have to do when you are signed off sick.

Check your contract emand, I expect it requires notice to be in writing, and that would be the normal requirement. An email should do if you don't want to write a letter.

Not sure what you mean by anything you have to do if you are signed off sick? If you're signed off, you're signed off, they can't make you work just because you have handed in your notice, if that's what you mean?
