Another stupid issue from someone who really shouldn't be tring to run her own business!
I have my one employee (since 12 Feb), I am paying him fortnightly, have been using the HMRC payroll calculators to work out tax and NI. I am opting to make quarterly payments to HMRC as the amounts are so small. First payment is due 5 April.
When I pay HMRC do I pay them the total tax I have deducted in my employ, the total employee's NI, and the total employer's NI contributions?
Yes, you are correct, I am really thick. I have been plaguing the HMRC helpline for weeks now, so thought I'd give you lot the turn.
(And yes, I have changed my name recently so all the other really stupid questions were from me.)
