maternity leave

I am leaving work for mat leave in 3 weeks.
I am finding it hard to let go of the project as I have been there 5 years started it and made it a success.. I know I am leaving for 9 months for the most important job of my life but struggle to let go, what ifs.. etc.. Am I majorily sad or did anyone else feel this way?

I was the same, I had put an awful lot of time and effort into my managers and staff and felt slightly resentful that someone elase was going to come in and 'take over'
Silly I know!!

As it happens I had a nasty car accident 3 weeks before I was due to go on mat leave so had to go early, so the decsion was kinds made easier.

It's suprising how quickly you forget about work when you are on mat leave

I am glad you are alright. I spose I will get over it I am backing off now..
I know I wont care so much when baby here, the thought that I can be just as good at being a mummy helps.
