Help employment advisiors out there pleaseplease

Today i got dismissed because after starting new job 7 days ago reference came back ok however as there was difference in date i said i left and date on reference by about 4 days they have called me a liar and told me to leave ,,,,pure humiliation and I had good refernces tooooo
I am mad made to feel like a cheat when I asked the hr lady to call my head hr she refused said she spoke to payroll ,,thing is although i resigned 2 days beofre interview the resignation wasnt accepted and my manager told me go on ur holidays as were booked and have brea
k and clean start but when i went interview they state i lied and am thereofre being sacked ,,,is this right

then when i got this job I obviosly told hr at prev job who then asked me to pay back holidays and just took the date onb original resignation letter told new job hr misunderstanding and old hr can clarify but she refused wants me out

startsq, it may not be worth taking it any further. The new company's relationship with you has broken down, and it is probably irretrievable. They might suspect, for example, that you got the old company to change the dates to match what you had told the new company. Your only hope would be if your new manager was prepared to fight HR.

SittingBull, my line of business is regulated by the FSA, and we always check references in great depth and ask candidates to explain any gaps in their CVs. We would not employ anyone if the dates from their referees did not match the dates on the CV. You have to be seen as completely honest. Any suspicion of lying (even if unfounded) is enough to damn you.

,angry, I have been working for my current employer now for 31/2 years i started out as a Receptionist then i under took the position of HR admin then i went back to reception but during that period i moved office three times and then we moved to our head office but the journey was quite long so they sent me a redundancy letter explaining that i took take the receptionist role at head office or take voluntary redundancy so i took the job but then after two months i was finding it hard with the travelling so i handed my notice in only to be offered an hr officer role i have been in this role now for only just over 1 month and they have had me in the office today to tell me that CSCI & Social services have tied there hands so they need to employ an experienced HR Manager because from starting i have been trying fo them to get me onto some kind of trainig course but i think this is a front and they are trying to get rid of me they have offered me an alternative job of Administrator telling me its not by any means a demotion but thats the only explanation i have been given just i just hand in my resignation letter tomorrow but i have not got another job to go to and its nearly christmas help please
