Applying for jobs - should I tell them I'm pregnant?

I'm 16 wks pregnant with a growing bump but it can be hidden, its at the stage where people arent quite sure if im pregnant or just fat!
Anyway, I need to get a job, just a basic minimum wage sort of job and my new deal advisor pretty much told me not to say im pregnant, she said often people dont know for ages do they. But im not so sure, i cant help thinking well ok but once i've got the job then what do I say, 'oh i just found out im 4 months pregnant, fancy that'!! I think i'd feel guilty for misleading people that I've then got to work with.
But if i tell people is anyone really going to give me a job?! Apart from telesales, I know they would at staybrite but I dont really want to go back to that, I'm not that desperate yet!

And are there any legal implications?

TIA

Don't know of any probs but I know a girl who jus got a job in May and she was pg, due end of this month. Already has a 10 month old daughter () so not going back to that job. I didn't think they would bother hiring her due to all the training etc but they did. So it can be done!
I think I would want to tell, to save embarrassment when you really do have to tell!

I actually was pg when I started a new job but because of th elong notice period in my job, I wasn't pg when I went for interview and accepted iyswim.

However, it was very embarassing within 2 weeks of starting to ask for a morning off so I could go for a scan

It depends how bothered you are about getting the job.

I didn't tell at interview got the job then told them before accepting, not that they had much choice at that stage. It worked out ok, but yes it was very stressful telling them and I also felt that I couldn't ever have a sick day or take my appointments unless I really had to.

If you tell them at interview then they will know all the facts and you won't have to worry about it, BUT with my cynical head on they will probably find a way not to give you the job.
