I have a one-night-a-week job, doing the accounts for a club.
I have done it for 2 years.
I finished last night.
Tonight I have a hand over.

I totally loved this job.
I am leaving because my bil (he chairs the meetings and makes nearly all the decisions at the club) and my sil (secretary), talk to me like dirt.

My dh hates this and said enough was enough.
I am apsolutley gutted that my bil and sil have practically driven me out of a job that I loved.

How do you cope with this?
Have will I deal with this when we are with them socially ?

Poor you. But if you enjoyed the job, you were good at it, go find someone else who appreciates your talents.

There are loads of small businesses who would like a one day/night a week accountant.

Thank you fairyjay.
Funnily enough, I have made an acquaintance with an accountant and have done some statutory accounts for him and received a big fat cheque yesterday, with a note begging me to do more.
So thats's nice.

Maybe I have a problem with forgiving people.
I still can't accept that they treat me with such disrespect.
How can I be pleasant to them, now ?

My dh says, he is going to tell them that the disrespect that they show me is totally offensive to him and that if they don't build bridges, they won't be welcome in 'his house'.

I love the way dh is standing up for me.
But don't want to cause problems in their big family.

How do I handle this ?
