And if so please could I pick your brains? I've got an interview next week as an MDT Facilitator. I need to find the National Cancer Plan to have a read (will be off to google in a minute) and need to have a basic knowledge of cancer care. I last worked in a general hospital 15 years ago so things might have changed. Are the "basics" radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgical intervention (in any combination?). Do alternative therapies play any part in hospital treatment these days? I know I won't need to know anything in any great depth, but I'm just guessing would need to have an awareness of what a patient's care pathway might be.
